The Rivers Residence Club (TRRC) is a senior residential community with 40 condominium units. Each unit includes a full basement, first floor laundry, a gas fireplace, a two car garage and a rear patio. The three basic floor plans include one or two bedrooms on the first floor and an optional room or bedroom upstairs. The master bedroom on the main floor includes an ensuite bathroom and a large walk in closet. The TRRC has minimum age requirement of 55 years. Small pets are allowed.
The Rivers Residence Club (TRRC) is located adjacent to The Rivers of Grosse Pointe, a separate organization. The Rivers of Grosse Pointe offers apartments for independent living, assisted living and rehabilitation facilities. TRRC residents can purchase lunches and dinners at The Rivers of Grosse Pointe and participate in activities as noted on the calendar of activities for the condo residents.
The complex is located in Grosse Pointe Woods on Cook Road about midway between Mack Ave and Lakeshore Drive. This location provides easy access to many restaurants and shops along Mack Ave.
The Perks of the Woods
Living in Grosse Pointe Woods, residents have access to Lake Front Park, a beautiful private park located on the Lake St Clair shoreline. The Park consists of 55 acres and boasts one of the largest municipal pools in the Midwest. Park amenities include a playscape, four gazebos and a marina. The Park’s sports facilities include sand volleyball and basketball courts; platform tennis, outdoor tennis and pickleball court; seasonal bocce ball and shuffle board courts; and a walking path with fitness stations.
Residents of GPW can also enjoy the community offerings at Grosse Pointe Woods Community Center. The Community Center provides day trips, fitness classes and other special events for the residents of the city.
